Floater Teacher
Position Summary:
The Learning Experience is looking for a motivated, energetic, passionate Full time floater teacher full time. Must have excellent communication skills with parents, children and staff members. Should be a team player, punctual to work, have good oral and written communication skills, basic computer knowledge such as creating newsletters and using Microsoft Word.
Qualifications:
*High School diploma or GED
*90 Preschool Certification
*Child Development Associate(CDA)
*Minimum 6 months to a year
*Must demonstrate experience and interest in working with young children, parents, and volunteers
*Must demonstrate a strong knowledge of appropriate practices in early childhood development including
working with parents
*Must demonstrate success in working as a member of a team
*Must have effective and strong communication skills(Orally and Written)
*Must demonstrate the ability to work well with young children
*Must be willing to work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of the program
*Be able to lift up to 30 lbs
*Be able to walk, squat/kneel, sit on floor, see, hear, speak with children to ensure children's health and safety
Responsibilities and Duties:
*Must carry out the curriculum for the infants
*Participate in staff meetings, center activities, and staff development.
*Clean and disinfect classroom and bathroom/diapering areas
*Assist with diaper changes and toilet training
