Job Summary :
The Assistant Director will work closely with the Center Director to oversee the daily functions of the daycare, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, maintaining high-quality educational standards, and supporting staff, children, and families. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities :
Assist the Director in the overall operation of the childcare center, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
Supervise and support teachers and staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for children.
Manage enrollment, parent inquiries, and maintain effective communication with families.
Ensure that all classrooms are operating effectively and that lesson plans align with curriculum standards.
Assist with scheduling, payroll, and administrative duties as assigned by the Director.
Address concerns from parents, staff, and regulatory agencies professionally and effectively.
Support a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
Step in as a substitute teacher when needed.
Qualifications :
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a childcare or preschool setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or administrative role.
Knowledge of state licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Must pass a background check and meet all state childcare licensing requirements.

2 years of professional teaching experience (required) or 4 year of related experience (required).
Education :
