What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at The Learning Lab?
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and is ideal for individuals who are currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in a higher education program that can benefit from ABA certification, training, and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by a BCBA.
Collect and record data on client behavior and progress during sessions.
Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy in the client’s home, school, or community settings.
Support clients in developing and improving communication, social, and adaptive skills.
Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to assess client progress and modify intervention strategies as needed.
Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous professional development.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality in accordance with BACB standards.
Communicate effectively with clients’ families and caregivers to provide updates and support.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
