We are looking for a Scheduling and Staffing Coordinator to support Early Learning Programs. This position will be based in our Johnstown, PA office.

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week.

What are the duties and responsibilities?
Staff Scheduling and Coverage
Schedule staff for Before and After School Programs, Summer Camps, Kids Day Out (KDO), snow days, delays, and early dismissals Be available 24/7 for call-offs and adjust staffing as needed to ensure coverage, as well as be flexible in filling shifts as needed Manage KDO, snow days, cancellations, and early outs
Billing and Enrollment Management
Oversee billing for all programs to ensure accuracy and timeliness Assist families with Early Learning Ventures (ELV) billing assistance Process registration and technology fees for new enrollments Change rates as needed within ELV Process enrollments and manage waitlists for before and after school, preschool, and summer camp programs
Program Support
Supervise Staff Substitute Send out communications through ELV, including flyers, letters, and event updates Provide general administrative support to the Early Learning Department Perform personnel functions, including ensuring evaluations and disciplinary actions for direct reports are completed in a timely manner Assist with the implementation and compliance of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Assist and review CACFP paperwork including eligibility and supporting documents
What are the required qualifications?
Associate degree in child development, education, psychology or social services; or Bachelor's degree in any of the above areas; and Administrative experience.
Other
Appropriate clearances: PA State Criminal History Record, Child Abuse Report, FBI Criminal History (PDE and DHS), NSOR Clearance and Mandated Reporter Trainings. First Aid – CPR Certification Trainings as required by PA Department of Human Services, Department of Education, PKC, and/or The Learning Lamp Clearances, trainings, physicals, and certifications must be kept current
What are the physical requirements?
Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 40 pounds on a regular basis Sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping for long periods of time up to eight hours per day
