Duties of Preschool Teacher
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Use various teaching methods to engage children in learning, including hands-on activities, group discussions, and individual instruction
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child and communicate with parents/guardians about their child's development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a positive and supportive learning community
Education and Experience
- CDA, Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or daycare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children
- Proficiency in math concepts suitable for preschool-aged children
