Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with preschool standards and promote holistic child development.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress in various developmental areas including cognitive, social-emotional, and physical skills.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning at home and address any concerns regarding their welfare.
- Organize physical education activities that enhance motor skills and encourage healthy habits among preschoolers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space conducive to learning.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children is an advantage.
- Knowledge of CT ELDS and DOTS. Cycle Of Intentional teaching.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math concepts into everyday activities.
