Essential Duties and Responsibilities (shall include but is not limited to):
- Supervision of Group Home Supervisors, Lead Overnight Supervisors (LONS), Lead Residential Instructors (LRI), and Residential Instructors (RI), supervision of residential services of assigned group homes
- Oversight of staff implementation of all training and behavior procedures
- Monitoring that all DMH/MR minimum standards for residential care are met
- Oversight of residential staff scheduling for assigned group homes
- Provision of accurate information to employees supervised on an ongoing basis
- Oversight of documentation for service provided in assigned group homes
- Oversight of preparation, provision, and collection of data sheets
- Oversight of preparation, provision, collection, and storage of reinforcers for all assigned group homes
- Oversight of documentation and requests for off campus trips
- Monitor and update adaptive goals based on student progress as needed
- Create materials as needed for learning objectives and behavior programs as needed
- Monitoring off campus trips ensuring they meet The Learning Tree’s standards for
- Participation in preparation of quarterly reports for Individualized Service Plan (ISP)
- Participation in interviewing of prospective residential staff
- Maintain appropriate professional relationships with superiors, colleagues, & subordinates
- Meeting deadlines and specific goals assigned in timely manner
- Conducting the training of supervisory and other residential staff as needed
- Conducting performance appraisal, formal feedback, and informal feedback on performance to residential staff
- Informing CRS within appropriate time frames of issues that impact program in substantive fashion
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree (Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related human services field preferred)
- Experience with supervision of staff
- Experience in human services / direct care
- Good driving record required.
