The Learning Tree of Elgin West is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers for our two-year-old classroom!
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a High School diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Childcare experience, highly preferred!
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, Full-time, 7:30am-4:30pm
Compensation: $18.00 - $19.25/hr. Pay is based on education and experience.

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Develops positive relationships with children and families. Maintains regular verbal and written communication with parents.
- Participates in professional development activities designated by the Director.
- Maintains a neat, clean, well-organized, environment.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
- Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
