We manage numerous short term rentals in the area and our focus is guest and client satisfaction. The atmosphere in our company is a very relaxed, but hard-working environment. Our goal is to find someone that can be given work orders for small to medium-sized handy jobs, and perform them flawlessly and without a bunch of oversight. Maintenance Manager & General Manager
Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our 200 short term rental units. Your primary responsibility will be to address and resolve maintenance needs before and during guest stays. You will work closely with our maintenance and administrative team to perform general repairs and maintenance tasks to keep our facility in top condition.
Responsibilities:
-Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly. This includes tasks such as repairing or replacing malfunctioning equipment, fixtures, or systems.
-Address Guest Issues: Respond to guest requests, complaints, and inquiries related to maintenance issues in a professional and timely manner. Effectively communicate with guests to understand their concerns and provide appropriate solutions while maintaining a high level of customer service.
-Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system issues. Carry out necessary repairs or coordinate with external contractors when required. Ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
-Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance procedures to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment. This involves conducting regular inspections, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment as necessary to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
-Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Report maintenance issues, progress, and completed tasks accurately and promptly. Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations.
-Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory. Keep track of completed tasks, outstanding issues, and maintenance schedules. Ensure that all documentation is organized and up to date.
-Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines, regulations, and protocols at all times. Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to supervisors.
-Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an inventory of necessary supplies, tools, and equipment. Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and communicate needs to the appropriate personnel to ensure adequate supplies for maintenance tasks.
-Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other maintenance team members, as well as employees from different departments, to coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks. Assist colleagues when necessary and contribute to a positive working environment.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a maintenance role or similar position.

- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- HVAC certification or experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Availability to work full-time hours, including alternating weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills required.
