Job Description :
As a Personal Injury Attorney at The Ledger Law Firm, you will handle all aspects of personal injury cases from intake to resolution. You will advocate for clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence and ensure they receive the compensation they deserve. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, excellent negotiation skills, and a client-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including pre-litigation and litigation cases.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Engage in settlement negotiations with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
Provide clients with regular case updates and strategic guidance.
Work closely with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 2 years of experience handling personal injury cases.
Strong litigation and trial experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
