Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Trial Attorney to lead personal injury cases from pre-litigation through trial. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of litigating cases, negotiating settlements, and delivering results in and out of the courtroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle personal injury cases from intake through trial, including depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
- Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and effectively advocate for clients during trials.
- Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.
- Maintain excellent client communication and provide case updates.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active Texas Bar License in good standing.
- 2 years of litigation and trial experience, preferably in personal injury law.
- Strong courtroom presence with experience handling jury trials.
- Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to obtain favorable settlements.
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering justice.
