We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations within the restaurant. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize dining flow.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
• Assist in managing wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their dining experience.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
• Support other restaurant staff as needed during peak hours. MUST HAVE SUNDAY AVAILABILTY.

Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong phone etiquette skills to handle inquiries professionally.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
