About the Role
The Manufacturing Quality Systems Leader will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our Quality Management System. This includes ensuring conformity to customer and regulatory requirements, developing and maintaining control plans and PPAPs, and working with Mil Specs and other aircraft specifications to improve and audit product quality.
Responsibilities also include conducting internal audits, completing 8D root cause analysis, and initiating continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality systems, including ISO9001/AS9100, as well as hands-on experience with machining operations and inspection.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of quality systems, including ISO9001/AS9100
- Hands-on experience with machining operations and inspection
- Knowledge of gage calibration, SPC, geometric tolerancing, and inspection methods
- Demonstrated proficiency in using statistical process control systems
