Qualifications:
- B.S./B.A. degree with at least two years production planning experience.
- Project management experience.
- Some experience with INFOR or other MRP systems.
- Local candidates only please.
Responsibilities:
- Review and release sales orders for shipment. Through discussion with shop supervision and engineering, assist in resolving production problems. Review engineering notices and complete item masters as released from engineering.
- Check open orders for current delivery schedule and parts allocation. Incorporate delivery quotes by sales department for new and presently booked orders, into production schedule.
- Review daily shipping logs and receiving reports. Determine assembly and detail parts to be ordered. Determine quantities, delivery dates and raw material or detail components, required for each job. Prepare job tickets on pre-printed forms.
- Compute and prepare efficiency reports for Swiss and Production Machining departments; prepare new production schedule (machine loading) for these departments and Assembly.
- Review and set order points. Periodically/occasionally request cycle counts on certain items. Review status of old work-in-process orders.
