The Lee Company seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our Quality Management System. This role involves ensuring conformity to customer and regulatory requirements, performing gage R&Rs, and coordinating new policies and methods.
Responsibilities include reviewing customer contracts, developing and maintaining control plans and PPAPs, and working with Mil Specs and other aircraft specifications to improve and audit product quality. Additionally, this role entails conducting internal audits, completing 8D root cause analysis, and initiating continuous improvement projects.
This position requires a strong understanding of quality systems, including ISO9001/AS9100, as well as hands-on experience with machining operations and inspection. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of gage calibration, SPC, geometric tolerancing, and inspection methods, as well as demonstrated proficiency in using statistical process control systems.
