NOW HIRING – FORKLIFT OPERATORS IN SUFFOLK, VA!
The Lee Group is seeking strong and manufacturing - loving individual to join our client in Suffolk, VA as a Forklift Operator. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for assisting the Grinder Operator with various operations, particularly focusing on maintaining the sanitation area. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the production process by providing support in the pit area. We have openings on day and night shift!
Pay : $16.00 hour
Shift : 7pm-7am - Rotating shift involves weekends
Shift : 7am-7pm - Rotating shift involves weekends

Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator :
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the sanitation area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces in the pit area to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Handle and dispose of waste materials properly, adhering to waste management protocols.
- Assist the Grinder Operator in operating machinery and equipment used in the coffee production process.
- Safely and efficiently transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies to designated areas using appropriate handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as required, ensuring accurate inventory counts are maintained.
- Properly label and store materials in designated locations, following inventory management procedures.
