Upper School Admissions Associate
To begin summer 2025
The Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving more than 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City. We are seeking an Upper School Admissions Associate to begin in summer 2025.
Position Overview:
The Admissions Associate will report directly to the Director of Upper School Admissions. The Admissions Associate will share in the responsibility for all initiatives and activities related to student recruitment, enrollment, and retention for Middle School and High School (grades 6-12). Candidates must be willing to engage professionally and enthusiastically in the process of working with prospective families and articulating the mission and programs of the school.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the planning and execution of Open Houses and other admissions events
Manage the admission database and track admission prospects
Schedule school visits for prospective students and parents
Maintain organized spreadsheets with applicant information
Assist with other administrative functions within the admissions office as well as more generally around the school
Provide information to local school districts about enrollment
Foster positive relationships with all school constituencies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Knowledge of an admission database platform is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Pay Rate: $57,000-$67,000
• Benefits: Generous paid time off, including personal and vacation days, holidays, and reduced work hours during the summer. Health benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, and FSAs. Others include a retirement saving plan (403b) and wellness benefits.
