PART TIME High School Science Teacher

The Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving more than 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City. We are seeking a Part Time High School Science Teacher to begin in August 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated High School Science professional who will engage and inspire students, foster strong communication with parents and colleagues, and contribute to our mission of developing students to become responsible, honest, compassionate, and respectful citizens.
Responsibilities:
• Teach a range of science courses such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Develop students’ twenty-first century skills, such as problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, use of technology, and written and oral presentation skills.
• Engaging students in scientific discovery through hands-on, inquiry-based experiments.
• Utilizing cutting-edge technology.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop enrichment plans for students.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Pay Rate: $40,000-$70,000
