Part-Time Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. Duties

• Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Assist with product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer experience.
• Upsell products when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area and surrounding spaces.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage cash drawers and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
