What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at The Legend at Brandybrook LLC?
Position Overview:
As a Lifeguard at The Legend Clubs, you are to ensure the safety and well-being of our members and guests at our pool facilities. This position is for our upcoming season, running from May through September 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising swimmers and enforcing safety rules to prevent accidents and injuries
- Responding quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents in the pool area
- Performing routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the pool area safe and sanitary
- Providing excellent customer service by assisting members and guests with inquiries and requests
- Attending mandatory training sessions to maintain and improve lifeguarding skills
Knowledge and Skills:
- Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid Certification required prior to start date
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues as needed
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
Education and Training:
Applicants must be 15 years or older.
Lifeguard Training course available at The Legend Clubs in May.
Reimbursement for certifications available if you work the entire summer.
