Packing Team Lead (6 pm - 6 am)

The LEGO Group is building a 1.7 million-square-foot precision production facility just south of Richmond in Chesterfield, Virginia. Job Description

The Team Lead is the subleader of the area which optimizes and manages resources (number of people and production required), participates and ensures the monitoring of continuous improvement processes (LCI tools) and maintains a good environment, collaboration and teamwork.

• Position requires flexible and proactive individuals that are ready to learn and eventually share their knowledge with other operators in the shopfloor.
• Successful applicants will thrive in an environment that requires collaboration, being proactive, completing repetitive tasks and who are driven by results.
• Work with computer-controlled equipment or mechanically based machines. Your interest in all things technical will ensure all is set up properly, working well and producing quality products.
• Communicate effectively and develop a positive working relationship with all co-workers.
• Ensure machines are stocked and working at full capacity. As a detailed worker, you'll keep our machines well-maintained as you perform periodic checks while inspecting products.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices as you prepare equipment for production. You'll use all the right safety precautions as you support our efforts to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.

REQUIREMENTS OF JOB

• 2 to 5 years minimum experience managing people.
• 2 to 5 years warehouse experience.
• Advanced and verified knowledge in Final-Pack/Full Flex/Semi-Auto lines.
• Complete and pass all required skills assessments, and in role hours training requirements for Level 1 to 4 pre-pack levels
• Continuous standing and walking
• Turning body side-to-side
• Lifting product up to 33 lbs.
• Grabbing/Pinching
• Reach away from your body.
• Bending/ squatting
• 18 years of age.
• Must be willing and able to work 12 hour 2-2-3 shift, 6 pm - 6 am.
• Starting Salary: $24.00
