Job Description:
Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of young children? Creative Kids Learning Academy is seeking passionate and motivated Assistant Preschool/Toddler Teachers to join our growing team in Allentown, PA. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside experienced educators to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool and infant classrooms.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through positive interactions, play, and educational experiences.
- Provide individualized attention and support to children based on their unique needs and abilities.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Collaborate with Lead Teachers and other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and development of children.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
- Adhere to all state licensing regulations and company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a teacher or assistant in an early childhood or elementary school classroom.
- Ability to obtain required clearances or willingness to obtain them upon hiring.
- Knowledgeable of the Pennsylvania curriculum for early childhood education and ability to modify instruction for different learning styles.
- Patient, compassionate, and reliable with a genuine love for working with young children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
