Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for the toddlers
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Monitor and assess each child's individual needs and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with toddlers-in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development for toddlers programs
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote positive behavior
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Skills:
- Must have a CDA (Child Development Associate) or an associate degree in early Childhood.
- Experience working with young children, understanding their developmental needs, and providing appropriate support
- Familiarity with daycare regulations and child welfare guidelines
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques to create an engaging learning environment
- Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning and development
