Summary:
To assist their team in completing projects through the implementation of Lemoine's Foundations for Successful Execution: Safety, Quality, Schedule, Relationships, and Success. This position has supervisory responsibilities to craft employees and temporary laborers. This position reports to the Civil Operations Manager within the Special Projects Business Unit.
Required Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Construction Management from a college or university preferred.
2. Experience working in the field on commercial, concrete, municipal or heavy highway construction projects.
3. Knowledge of jobsite safety, project management, scheduling and cost controls.
4. Effective communication and leadership skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with all levels of project team and craft workers.
7. Must have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Physical Demands:
The physical and mental demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
Other:
Most duties in this position are performed under periodically disagreeable working conditions including: working outside, at times in inclement weather; and exposure to water, dust, dirt, grease, paint fumes, chemicals, and equipment noise and vibration. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Work hours coincide with jobsite and/or office hours.
