Position Overview : We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our team. The Senior Estimator will play a crucial role in assisting clients with the full spectrum of preconstruction services. This position requires a deep understanding of construction processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Project Management and Estimating.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ability to perform conceptual estimates during the schematic and design development phase
- Manage full life cycle of preconstruction including schedule development, cash flow analysis, permitting, and procurement.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with Owners and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Review and evaluate contractor bids for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the review of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
- Monitor and report on project costs and progress to ensure alignment with estimates.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior estimators.
