Recruiter / Site Administrator

Summary :
The Recruiter / Site Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting field operations by recruiting, screening, and onboarding skilled craft workers for construction projects. This role will work onsite , directly assisting the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner in sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting pre-employment screenings, and ensuring all administrative aspects of onboarding are completed. Additionally, this role will support on-site and off-site drug screenings, facilitate orientation sessions, assist with benefits coordination, and provide administrative support for safety and site leadership teams .
A key part of this role will involve coordinating and assisting with on-site training sessions , including safety training, equipment certifications, and compliance workshops in collaboration with the safety team and project leadership.
Responsibilities :
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition :
- Source, recruit, and fill skilled and non-skilled craft positions for active construction projects.
- Assist with screening candidates for skill level, experience, and cultural fit within the organization.
- Proactively build talent pipelines by networking with past applicants, trade schools, and industry contacts.
- Open job requisitions as requested by Project Managers, Superintendents, or site leadership .
- Conduct initial candidate outreach , schedule interviews, and follow up with applicants.
- Track and escalate recruitment challenges (e.g., multiple candidates declining offers due to wages, location, etc.).
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) .
- Participate in career fairs, hiring events, and outreach programs to source top craft talent.
- Build and maintain relationships with local workforce development programs, trade schools, and industry organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
