Job Responsibilities:
This role involves conducting basic cleaning tasks for fire, water, and mold remediation, which includes wiping down surfaces, managing inventory control, packing, wrapping goods, and handling vehicle loading and unloading. You'll coordinate and execute production processes according to schedule, ensuring quality control throughout. Identifying safety hazards and establishing control measures is key to maintaining the safety of both occupants and workers. Clear communication with restoration technicians is essential as you'll set expectations and oversee their work. You'll also monitor and inspect water restoration tasks, ensuring activities like drying and demolition are completed properly. The role requires scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing crews and resources, including subcontractors, for active projects. You'll assist Project Managers when needed by documenting job activities with notes, photos, and records per company procedures. Additionally, you'll handle customer issues and keep key staff updated on daily job activities. Conducting site assessments to support job estimates and site plans is also part of your responsibilities. Knowledge of the disaster restoration or construction industry is required, along with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel is a necessary component of this position.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma-GED / Associates / Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 years of professional experience in field supervisory role.
- Strong working knowledge of project planning and scheduling for construction trades (all disciplines).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software programs.
- Prefer one or more IICRC Certifications: ASD - Applied Structural Drying Technician, FSRT - Fire and smoke Restoration Technician, OCT - Odor Control Technician, WRT - Water Damage Restoration Technician, and MRS - Mold Remediation Specialist.
- Prefer Xactimate, DASH, MICA experience
- Proven skills in the areas of math as well as excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
- Strong reasoning and comprehension skills.

The Restoration Superintendent/Field Supervisor is responsible for managing and controlling an assigned project(s), including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, and trade contractor and supplier coordination, and works closely with all members of the project team, all in an effort to minimize risk. This is a seasonal position responding to hurricanes and offers hourly compensation.
