Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when needed.
- Support food preparation for bar snacks or small plates as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Help with bussing tables in the bar area to maintain a tidy environment.
- Assist with catering events or banquets as necessary, ensuring all bar needs are met.
- Familiarize yourself with Aloha POS system for efficient order processing.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for the industry is key.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial.
- Experience in nightclub or hotel settings is a plus.
