Job Overview
The Junior Quality Control (QC) Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Quality Control, Risk, and Training Manager by conducting quality assessments and preparing detailed reports to ensure adherence to internal standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) certification and a passion for process improvement, enabling them to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to enhance operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assessments
- Conduct regular quality control assessments for the housing division to ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
- Evaluate operational processes and deliverables for alignment with established quality benchmarks.
- Perform detailed inspections and audits of documentation, procedures, and systems to identify deviations or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with departments to gather data and validate the accuracy of quality metrics.
Reporting
- Prepare comprehensive QC reports, highlighting findings, trends, and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of assessments and follow-up actions to ensure accountability and progress tracking.
- Create dashboards and visual summaries of QC metrics for presentation to senior leadership.
Process Improvement
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in developing and implementing solutions to improve operational performance and reduce defects.
- Monitor the impact of implemented changes and report on their effectiveness.
Support and Collaboration
- Work closely with the Quality Control, Risk, and Training Manager to develop and refine QC processes and procedures.
- Assist in training team members on quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide feedback to team leads and management on areas needing immediate attention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in quality control, auditing, or process improvement.
- Lean Six Sigma (LSS) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating reports and delivering feedback.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality control software/tools.
- Familiarity with housing, property management, or tenant relocation services is a plus.
