Leumas is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role will support the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, allowing our specialists to focus on higher-level financial analysis and strategic planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable Support
- Batching expense transactions within our QBO Bank Feed.
- Establish and maintain vendor files and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Accounts Receivable Support
- Batching income transactions within our QBO Bank Feed.
- Assist with preparing supporting documentation for our invoices to customers.
- Assist in resolving customer billing concerns and discrepancies.
General Bookkeeping
- Record daily financial transactions within QBO.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting records.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with QBO.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
