Overview
We have an immediate opportunity for an Associate to join the Firm's litigation practice. Qualified candidates must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Pennsylvania. We are looking for someone who has a positive, professional attitude toward the practice of law, and has excellent research, analytical, and writing skills. Our associates work collaboratively and cooperatively with our Partners, making The Levicoff Law Firm an outstanding place for a motivated attorney to learn and grow. Duties
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on legal matters to ensure clients receive the best possible outcomes.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Provide strategic guidance and counsel to clients, utilizing expertise in areas such as Securities law, Family law, Environmental law, and Immigration law.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of legal services.
- Represent clients in court, negotiating settlements and advocating for their interests.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Tribal law regulations and Patent law, applying this knowledge to clients' cases.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including those related to legal drafting and procedure.
Skills
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex legal issues into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Securities law, Family law, Environmental law, and Immigration law, with a willingness to expand knowledge into other areas.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
