What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Technician position at The Life Church of Memphis?
Summary:
The Production Technician is responsible for maintaining all Production equipment in the Memphis region and for providing support for technical issues and questions throughout each region of The Life Church. This position includes weekend services, regular office hours, and occasional evening availability for volunteer connection and special events.
Responsibilities include but are not limited¹:
- Provide on-call and in-person standby tech assistance for all locations/regions
- Perform routine equipment maintenance/checks for all Memphis region locations
- Cameras
- Video switching and processing
- LED screens and processors
- Lighting equipment and communication
- Lighting fixtures
- Comms
- Playback systems
- Create and maintain all video connections
- Create and maintain video and lighting connection diagrams
- Assist with construction needs for install and large events²

- Proficient with various Production software
- Ability to set up, operate and maintain all Production equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively and promptly, both verbally and in writing
- Proficient or willing to learn Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc)
- Proficient with diagram software
- An attitude of continued learning and mastering technical skills
