Summary:
The Life Church is looking for a highly-skilled videographer who knows how to work well with all kinds of people, has great communication skills and is self-motivated. The ideal candidate thinks creatively and strategically, takes initiative, is detail-oriented, has strong interpersonal and leadership skills. They must be a team player and have the ability to use discernment in making decisions about their projects. This position is approximately 40 hours per week and includes weekend services, regular office hours and occasional evening availability for special events.
Responsibilities are not limited to, but include*:
- Shoot and edit promos, stories, event videos, TV and other video content
- Set-up and orchestrate video shoots on set and on location
- Develop systems, processes and protocols for video shoots, capture standards/LUTS, to ensure the quality of work through systematized accountability
- Assist in video project administration
- Assist/train volunteer videographers and editors
- Capture video of church life, outreach, events and services, stories, b-roll
- Produce video content for use on church websites, social media, weekend services, conferences, etc.
- Maintain video equipment and manage equipment storage
- Collaborate with team in brainstorming video project ideas and execution/plan video shoots
- Maintain availability for weekend services and events
- Continually improve video editing skills
- Learn and utilize fundamentals of motion graphic design

- Ability to operate, move and hold recording equipment (Mac, Canon and Sony, etc)
- Understand foundational lighting concepts and lighting angle
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced moving environments
- Ability to utilize task management software and work systems effectively (ClickUp, Google Suite, etc.)
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
- An attitude of continued learning and mastering design craft
