What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting/ Data Entry Clerk position at The Light Connection Inc.?
The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk will perform a variety of general accounting support tasks in our accounting department.
The candidate will be responsible for:
*Answer office phone calls
* Preparing invoices for our customers
* Enter data into our computer system using defined computer programs
* Compile data and prepare a variety of reports
*Accounting filing
* Assist management with all daily operations
Qualifications:
Specific qualifications include, but are not limited to:
*Ability to answer phones in a professional manner
* Ability to work independently and also able to work closely with other departments in team environment
* Demonstrates ability to take initiative and use sound judgment and discretion
* Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset
Hours: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm with an hour lunch
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
