What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Stagers position at The Light Connection Inc.?
This is an entry level position that reports directly to the Director of Operations, the production stager’s responsibility is to ensure proper issuance of raw materials, creation of production orders, and respooling / cutting of production spools to support the manufacturing schedule in a timely manner.
Specific Tasks to include;
- General
- Daily priorities and schedules will be set by the production planner
- Maintain a safe work environment, report safety concerns to your supervisor
- Warehouse, buffer storage and fiber must stay neat and orderly
- Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Create production order and pick material per production schedule
- Cut spool lengths as required to support production orders
- Maintain stages ahead of production in order for efficient production flow, with no down time
- Additional requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolong periods of time
- Use paper and computer-based documentation
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
- Work safely and follow the TLC safety standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
