We are currently seeking a person who identifies strongly with our mission and core values to join our team in Seattle as a Custodian. This is an ideal role for someone who has one year of maintenance experience, who takes pride in their work, and who enjoys working independently.

Purpose
Provides clean-up for all production areas ensuring a safe work place.
Responsibilities
- Perform routing cleaning tasks such as washing windows, cleaning restrooms and break rooms.
- Sweeps production areas and office areas.
- Sweeps and bags aluminum chips in machine shop area.
- Maintains grounds by picking up debris including trash, tree or bush trimmings and removing snow from sidewalks.
- Maintains parking areas by keeping them clear of trash or debris.
- Crush and recycle cardboard.
- Empty trash receptacles and bags of trash for proper disposal.
- Assists Maintenance when needed.
- Have knowledge of MSDS process.
- Ensures the adherence to safety and health standards.
- Immediately notify supervisor and/or Safety Manager of any safety and health concerns and problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Graduate or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds required.
- One year janitorial experience preferred.
- Ability to understand verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work schedule as assigned.
