We are currently seeking a person who identifies strongly with our mission and core values to join our team as a Production Worker II at our facility in Seattle, WA. This is an ideal role for someone who is dependable, self-motivated and who has prior production experience in a manufacturing setting. We also seek a candidate who aligns strongly with our mission and who has a solid mechanical aptitude.
Please Note: We are currently seeking persons to work 2nd and 3rd shift only at this time.
Purpose:
Performs manufacturing operations to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts.
Responsibilities:
- Installing rivets in previously countersunk holes and affixing with tape.
- Ability to read and have a understanding of work order operations.
- Independently clean and deburr parts.
- Assemble and label boxes.
- Ability to accurately count finished work pieces.
- Selects appropriate deburring medium such as files, sponges and sandpaper.
- Correctly uses deburring mediums such as files, sponges and sandpaper.
- Mentoring of co-workers.
- Ensures the adherence to company safety and health standards, policies and procedures by monitoring personnel, machinery and work environment.
- Immediately notify supervisor and/or Safety Manager of any safety and health concerns and problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Have a basic mechanical aptitude.
- 1 year production experience preferred.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand or sit up to 8 hours with standard rest-periods.
- Ability to perform work assignments requiring repetitive motions.
- Ability to work schedule as assigned.
