Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.

Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff, including basic food handling and bussing duties.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Help organize and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and utensils.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Support the catering team during events by ensuring timely cleaning of service items.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
