About the Role
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be instrumental in overseeing procurement, material management, logistics, project management, and ERP maintenance functions. Your expertise will ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials, supporting the success of our engineered curtain wall and related construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-construction activities, including scope definition and vendor selection for buyouts.
- Review vendor pricing proposals, identify gaps, and lead supplemental actions as needed.
- Oversee and report on materials procurement budgets, collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Develop tools to enhance communication across departments and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Develop and maintain scheduling activities to synchronize supply chain tasks with project timelines.
- Manage ERP processes to ensure project demands are accurately reflected.
- Monitor inventory levels, prevent surpluses, and release purchased materials as new updates become available.
- Negotiate supplier agreements, ensuring optimal pricing and delivery performance.
- Proactively address supply chain issues and prepare for contingency planning.
- Foster positive relationships with vendors to achieve quality, delivery, and budget goals.
- Lead project meetings and ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress and challenges.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or construction.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and demand planning.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of procurement, materials management, and project scheduling principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard software tools.
Preferred:
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Production planning expertise in construction or manufacturing environments.
