Afterschool/ Elementary Sub

The Lilypad Garden & Farms School is a preschool and childcare facility dedicated to the highest quality Early Childhood education and care.

We are currently looking for a highly qualified, energetic teacher to love, nurture, care for and teach as a full time afterschool/elementary substitute in our school age classes. This is our closer position which is from 10am-6:30pm. This position will entail a full time position subbing in various elementary classes mainly lunch breaks and planning time, as well as our elementary after school program. We are looking for teachers with strong skills with classroom management and child engagement

Job duties include:

• Teaching in a fun and engaging way using songs, interactive games and hands on activities
• Compliance with state health/safety standards
• Routine chores to maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment
• Subbing in various elementary classes as well as doing lunch breaks and planning time
• Teaching in our elementary after school program
• Providing a loving and nurturing environment
• Communicating with parents effectively regarding the well being and care of their child through frequent verbal and electronic communication

All Substitute/floating applicants must have at least two years LEAD experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting.

Opportunities for pay increase are considered at 90 days based on performance and excellent attendance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Licensed Child Care or Teaching: 2 years (Preferred)
