Food Server/Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to the dining area, providing exceptional service to our guests. This position requires a keen understanding of food safety standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.

Responsibilities:

• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure that guests’ dining experiences are positive by checking in regularly and attending to their needs
• Answer questions regarding the menu, ingredients, and specials
• Ensure tables are properly set and clean
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining room and serving stations
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with the kitchen, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with a positive attitude
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to [25] lbs
• Knowledge of food and beverage menu, or willingness to learn
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 32 per week
