We are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Manager. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, client entertainment and attending tradeshows
- Develop, manage, and cultivate long term client relationships that produce both group and business travel business
- Create, track, manage and follow up on all business inquiries to generate group room nights, transient revenue and associated food and beverage revenue to impact RevPar performance
- Provide detailed, accurate and timely communication on groups, corporate clients, and new accounts to Hotel Leadership
- Perform customer site inspections to uncover needs and present solutions that will maximize booking opportunity and create strong customer relationships
- Understand and utilize the sales tools the company provides and to follow and support all sales and marketing operating systems.
- Adjust group pricing and recommend group concessions as needed to secure group business in support of hotel budget targets
- Use company wide programs, sales developments, prospecting projects, and reporting for group business development
- Review daily arrivals to isolate potential new clients
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Attend relevant meetings, including but not exclusive to: Daily Stand-Up meetings, Sales Meeting, Pre-Convention Meetings, and BEO/Resume Meetings
- Assist with project-based opportunities designed to drive team performance.
Core Competencies
- Minimum Three (3) years hospitality related experience selling Corporate Group
- LA Market and Independent Hotel experience preferred
