What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crewman position at The Links at Stono Ferry?
The Links at Stono Ferry golf course in Hollywood, SC, is seeking a full-time crewman to be able to perform the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course and clubhouse grounds.
These duties include but are not limited to:
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Course setup for daily play: move tee markers, set pins, and empty trash.
- Mowing of the turfgrass areas: greens, tees, and fairways, rough.
- Trim mowing of pond banks, bunkers trees, curbs.
- Raking of the bunkers by hand and mechanical means.
- Debris removal.
- Reports all problems to immediate supervisors.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible with work schedule.
- Must be hardworking, efficient, and able to perform all specific duties above.
- Must be able to pick up and carry 50 lbs.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding of the game of golf.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
