Our continued growth has created an immediate need for an Assistant Architectural Designer located in Albany, NY.
The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS).

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the construction and rehabilitation projects for various clients
- Assist the Senior and Associate Architects to deliver services that are responsive to the critical needs of our client agencies
- Work on projects that are budget and deadline driven and require extensive knowledge of building and fire codes, architectural standards
- Drafting and modifying Architectural drawings at all phases
- Reviewing design documents and construction estimates
- Assisting in coordination with engineering consultants, and coordinating documents with MEP, Civil, and Structural drawings
- Researching products and materials
- Performing constructability reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited college is required.
- Proficiency with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro, Rhino 3D Max or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Knowledge of International and Local Building Codes is a plus
- Strong conceptual, communication, planning and organization skills and capability of working both individually and in a team environment on a variety of projects and tasks
