About the Role:
- Inspect lead abatement/disturbance projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with clients and contractors to plan and execute daily work activities.
- Prepare detailed written logs summarizing work activities, observations, and any issues encountered.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor waste storage areas and track waste generated during the project.
- Transmit daily logs to project managers for review and analysis.
Requirements:
- Certification as a C-3/C-5 inspector from the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP).
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in lead abatement/disturbance monitoring for MTA NYCT related projects.
- A valid MTA NYCT Track Safety Training Card.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, based on project schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
- Experience with air monitoring on abrasive blasting projects is a plus.
- A valid NYS Drivers License is preferred but not required.
