Our growth has created a need for a MEP Project Manager - with an emphasis on relevant HVAC design experience to join our expanding MEP design team in our Syosset, LI Office.
Responsibilities
The HVAC Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC design projects within LiRo. This includes planning, designing, and executing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. The Project Manager will collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
- Lead and manage HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather project requirements, evaluate existing HVAC systems, and identify potential design improvements
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope of work, deliverables, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and construction managers to develop HVAC system designs that meet project requirements and comply with industry standards and regulations
- Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for HVAC systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
- Coordinate with procurement teams to source and select HVAC equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues or delays, and communicate updates to clients and project teams
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure HVAC systems are installed and commissioned correctly and troubleshoot any operational issues
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to HVAC systems, and incorporate best practices into project designs and execution
- Foster strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and participate in business development activities, such as preparing proposals and attending client meetings
