What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Controls Director position at The LiRo Group?
We are seeking a Project Controls Director to lead our project controls staff in managing project costs, schedule, and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing comprehensive dashboards and reports that visualize key aspects of large-scale projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining project controls methodologies like Earned Value Management to track project performance against baseline plans. They will also monitor project costs, schedule, and risks, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.
In addition, the Project Controls Director will create customized reports for different levels of management, providing clear and concise project performance updates. They will pro-actively identify trends and potential problems through data analysis.
The successful candidate will have advanced Power BI skills in data modeling, visualization techniques, and dashboard development. A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is required. Experience as a project manager in leading a project controls team is also necessary.
