Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at The LiRo Group. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the development of infrastructure projects from planning to execution. Your expertise in civil engineering analysis and design will enable you to lead coordination and presentation of submissions with local authorities and clients. You will also be responsible for site investigations, design calculations, and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to zoning, site planning, stormwater management, utility planning, and parking analysis.
• Lead coordination and presentation of submissions with local utilities, municipalities, environmental agencies, and town planning boards.
• Perform site investigations to observe and document existing conditions.
• Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications, and lead the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high-quality engineering services.
• Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects.
• Engage with existing clients and pursue new clients to support business growth across LiRo's service lines.
• Assist in the preparation of technical content for proposals for engineering services.
• Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm.
• Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
