Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team in Rockland County, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and will possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the activities of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control standards are met and identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Develop and implement effective project work plans, including resource allocation and scheduling
- Communicate regularly with the project team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and meeting minutes
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in construction, preferably in a supervisory role
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective project work plans
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
