POSITION : Sales & Catering Director
DEPARTMENT : Sales
REPORTS TO : Director of Operations
Pay : Exempt; Salary negotiable; eligible for quarterly commission based on sales business actualized
As the Director of Sales & Catering , you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and maintaining our reputation as a premier destination. You will lead a high-performing sales and catering team, develop strategic sales and catering initiatives, and collaborate with various departments to ensure the success of our hotel.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
Sales & Catering Leadership :
Provide visionary leadership to the sales & catering team, setting clear goals and performance expectations.Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue across all resort offerings, including accommodations, dining, events, and activities.Market Analysis and Strategy :
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.Use market insights to develop and adjust sales strategies to meet changing customer demands.Establish pricing strategies that balance revenue goals with guest value.Team Management and Development :
Recruit, train, and mentor a dynamic sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.Set individual and team sales targets and track performance against KPIs.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Relationship Building :
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, travel agencies, event planners, and corporate clients.Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance the hotel's brand image and visibility in the market.Revenue Optimization :
Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.Develop and manage the annual sales budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.Customer Experience :
Ensure that the guest experience aligns with the resort's commitment to excellence.Work closely with the guest services and operations teams to address customer feedback and improve service quality.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).years of experience in sales or catering leadership roles, preferably in the hospitalityProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Opera and sales management software.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
